SHIPPING

Any item shown on our website can be delivered directly to your home anywhere within Canada. Delivery surcharges apply to all freight bound for Nunavut, Yukon, Northwest Territories and remote locations.. If you have a specific delivery time frame or restriction, please contact us as soon as possible. We will try to meet your needs as best we can.

Shipping costs are determined by the total VOLUME AND WEIGHT of your order. We do not charge shipping on the dollar value of the order. We find the most accurate way is by the total weight and volume of your shipment.

We are happy to offer you four (4) different delivery options.


1) BASIC HOME DELIVERY (curbside delivery) (ALWAYS FREE !!!)

MY COUNTRY FURNITURE will ship your order using the fastest, safest, and most reliable standard shipping method at NO COST TO YOU ! We have strong relationships with the finest delivery companies nationwide which can in most cases track your shipment on it's journey to you. Most of the items we sell are too large to ship using a Small Parcel Carrier therefore our best option is to ship using a common carrier. This method will require you to help the driver offload the furniture from the truck to outside your door *. For residential deliveries you will be contacted by the shipping carrier to schedule a delivery appointment for which you must be available. When your shipment arrives be sure to carefully follow the instructions listed under “Shipping policy and Delivery Inspection”. Remember that with MY COUNTRY FURNITURE, this option is included FREE for every order (except deliveries to Nunavut, Yukon, Northwest Territories and Remote Locations). To know if you are considered a remote location just put in your postal code in the ESTIMATE SHIPPING box and if the only available option is curbside delivery then you are considered a remote area and the cheapest freight cost will appear.

* For deliveries to apartments or condos you must help the driver offload the furniture from the truck to an area closest to the front door of the building.

2) BRONZE DELIVERY, includes the following :

  • - Delivery to customer’s door (inside).
  • - Scheduled appointment for your convenience.
  • - 2 man delivery.

Please note that the delivery is done to the door (inside), no unpacking or placement of the furniture is included at this level.

3) SILVER DELIVERY, includes the following :

  • - Delivery in the specific room.
  • - Scheduled appointment for your convenience.
  • - 2 man delivery.

Please note there is no unpacking included at this level.

4) GOLD DELIVERY, includes the following :

  • - Delivery in the specific room, unpacking and disposing of the packing material included.
  • - Scheduled appointment for your convenience.
  • - 2 man delivery.

Our Shipping Policy and Delivery Inspection

Once your order leaves the warehouse, where possible, we will e-mail you the tracking number so you can track your shipment online or via telephone. Deliveries are normally scheduled Monday through Friday during normal business hours.. If you have tracked your package and found any discrepancies in the delivery, please contact us.

You will be contacted for an appointment by the freight carrier or delivery agent ahead of time so that you can plan your schedule accordingly. Transit times varies from 3 days to 10 days but cannot be guaranteed. Our company will do it’s best to ensure a prompt and safe delivery, however, MY COUNTRY FURNITURE cannot be held responsible in the event that your items arrives later than the estimated date due to geographic location, weather or seasonal demand.

All deliveries will require that an adult be present to inspect and sign for the shipment. Under no circumstances can the items be left outside of the house or apartment unattended unless your order ships with a small parcel carrier such as DHL, FedEx or UPS and you agreed that the courier delivers without a signature.

Upon delivery, be sure to inspect the shipment for damages before the driver leaves. All shipments are fully insured while in transit only. If there is visible damage to the packaging, you should immediately open the packaging and inspect the product for damage and contact our office for further instructions. Please note all damage on the delivery slip, It is important to be as detailed and descriptive as possible on the delivery slip before you sign for your items. A signature indicates acceptance; without inspecting the boxes, you are accepting the shipment "as is" and will be fully responsible for any replacements (including freight) or repair costs if transit related. Ensure you also verify the number of packages delivered with the delivery receipt you receive. Please use caution when opening your items to prevent scarring from knifes or misplacement of instructions and hardware. Should any damage be discovered please keep the shipping carton and inner packaging.

Important: Once you have been issued a tracking number, the order is shipped and can no longer be cancelled or modified. There will be a $50.00 processing fee for any change of address requests submitted in the event your order has already shipped. It is the customers' responsibility to ensure the furniture will fit through hallways, doorways, or any such pretext. MY COUNTRY FURNITURE will not accept returns or be held accountable should your order not fit into your home, or should damages occur due to improper measuring.

Return & Exchange Policy

At MY COUNTRY FURNITURE, we encourage you to be sure you like an item before ordering it. Unlike DVDs, books, or shoes, furniture is fragile and therefore expensive to ship. More than 99% of our customers are very pleased with their items when they arrive and we expect you will be as well. Note: If the items you receive are somehow damaged or defective when you receive them, they are covered under our warranty. MY COUNTRY FURNITURE will discount or replace damaged or defective items at no cost.

All returned items must be in their original packaging, including instructions, parts and internal packaging. Items must be in resalable condition, and will be subject to a restocking fee of 20% (undamaged furniture only). No orders will be accepted back without prior authorization by MY COUNTRY FURNITURE. The refund for your order will be processed after the item is received back at the warehouse. Returns must be received at the warehouse within 30 days of "Return Authorization" date. It is the responsibility of the customer to be available to meet the shipper to arrange for any returns.

Shipping Fees

One-way shipping fees are estimated at 15 - 25% of the purchase price. Returns are subject to both outbound and inbound shipping fees. Even items that are sold with 'Free Shipping' or 'Free Delivery' are subject to shipping fees if they are returned.

Refused orders are treated as returned orders and are subject to the same shipping and restocking fees. In the event you cancel your item while en route or if the order is considered "undeliverable" by the freight company at the destination due to the receiver (you the customer) being unavailable, then the Return Policy also applies along with all shipping and restocking fees.

You have five days from date of delivery to file for a refund otherwise all sales are final.

If a product has been damaged during shipping, please contact us immediately as it may be necessary for the shipper to inspect it for insurance claims reasons. If the shipping carton is visibly damaged and/or the merchandise is damaged upon delivery, do not accept delivery and notify us immediately. Damaged items will be replaced with the same item. If an item cannot be replaced due to unavailability, then we will refund your purchase price.
